All delivery agents/drivers make money by delivering food, groceries, and other items directly to the customer.

We offer two options.

1. The delivery fee is for the courier in full. This is calculated from the Base, per km, and per-minute fees.

2. In South Africa, we offer an R32 fixed delivery fee per completed service. This is the more popular choice.

We accept all popular payment methods including Bank cards, Cash, and Wallets. You need to upload money into your wallet. 

This is an unfortunate and rare event.

Nevertheless, if this happens to you, please notify the restaurant. It's important to confirm the order was processed, who picked it up, and what time etc.

We recommend that you track your order using our real-time GPS.

We value drivers who sincerely do their job professionally.

Highly rated drivers attract more trust from customers. Hence tend to get more jobs.

Please rate drivers fairly.

Your bank details are required so you can get paid. 

On your dashboard, click "payment details", then "Add payment details", and type over your bank account number, CORRECT full name, bank name, and the bank Swift code.  Update your details. You can change these details as you wish. If you enter the wrong details your bank may not pay you. 

Yes, we do. The food delivery bag costs R300. We give a free yellow or red T-shirt.

All drivers are paid once a week on Wednesday. Your earnings will be transferred to the bank account you provided when you signed up with Saba Eats. Depending on your bank, the transfer might take 2 to 3 days. It is important to keep your bank details accurate to avoid missing a payment. You can update your bank details on your dashboard.

We support delivery agents for the services they offer. However, we follow strict industry guidelines. In the interest of safety and compliance, we screen all drivers. Where a driver uses fraudulent documents or a vehicle not registered in his or her name we block the account. We also deactivate an account if an agent is rude or dishonest to our esteemed partners, vendors, or customers. Common causes for rejection are unclear documents uploaded, the vehicle image does not show the number plate, no documents uploaded, and no vehicle image.

The commonest cause is entering your phone incorrectly.

We noticed a few people added a ZERO in front of their number. 

The correct way is "xxxxxxxxx", NOT "0xxxxxxxxxx".

Another reason is a weak or poor network. In this case, we advise you to try again.

Saba Eats uses Yoco (For South Africa only) and Stripe which is well-known for its safety features. Both accept popular bank cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Apple, and Google Pay wallets. Some restaurants accept cash on delivery.

On your dashboard, click on Payment methods, then click "Add Card" and follow the instructions to add any amount to your wallet that you can use in the future.

Indeed all your previous orders are visible on the dashboard.

Delivery fees are the delivery agent's earnings. Besides making a living on this money, drivers have numerous costs to cover such as vehicle repairs, fuel costs, and more.

Tipping the driver is optional but we recommend it as a good gesture to the driver for the service offered.

The service or commission fee helps the platform to continue business and explore innovative solutions that give partners and customers great service. Our service fee is fixed at 8% (Australia) and 18% (South Africa) of the order completed. 

Some restaurants accept cash upon delivery but payment by bank cars and wallets is the preferred method.

In South Africa, all delivery agents are guaranteed R32 for every delivery completed. Any tips given are added to this fee.

The delivery fee is calculated based on the distance and time to deliver your order. Some drivers get more from tips.

Saba Eats is the highest-paying food delivery service in South Africa. We value our delivery agents and the service they provide.

All delivery agents are required to obtain an ABN before joining our delivery network. GST registration is not mandatory until you earn more than $ 75,000.00 in a year.

All drivers must have a full driver's license in the interest of public safety. No Learners or P1 license holders would be allowed.

You will need a vehicle third-party insurance to deliver orders.

Normally it takes 72 hours to approve your account if all your documents are in order.

Drivers must be over 18 years of age to work for Saba Eats. We do check the ID documents you upload.

Saba Eats accepts cars, scooters, e-scooters (urban areas only), motorbikes, and push bikes/bicycles as modes of delivery.

Saba Eats delivery agents are independent contractors. Therefore, you are supposed to declare your earnings and lodge your tax papers in your country. In Australia, you are responsible for your Super contributions. 

To put it straight, yes. You are required to meet your tax obligation in your country.

We recommend that all agents use our branded food bags. For agents in South Africa, the bag costs R300, and in Australia $20 including postage.

All agents pay for their fuel and vehicle maintenance costs. 

Saba Eats pays on Wednesday. Depending on your bank, your money should be in your account before the weekend.

Once your account is activated, swipe the button on your dashboard to "online" to see jobs available in your area. 

The service fee is charged to the vendor. Saba Eats charges the lowest service fee of 18% of the order. We use this fee to cover our operations such as technology development, marketing, and payment processing. 

The delivery fee is added to the order and charged to the customer. This fee is what the delivery agent gets as income. In South Africa, the delivery fee is fixed at R32 regardless of the order value. In Australia, the service fee includes the pickup, kilometer, and per-minute fees. The longer the distance to travel the more you pay.

You only need to register once either on the Saba Eats app or on the website. You can log in on either platform with the same login details.

The service fee is what Saba Eats charges the restaurant for using our services. The Saba Eats delivery fee is what we charge the customer for the delivery service.

Saba Eats provides merchant tablets to some restaurants so they can receive and manage Saba Eats orders. We do not charge for the tablet for the whole duration of our partnership.

We can integrate Saba Eats on your POS. To do that, we need the POS API. It takes a few weeks to complete the process.

Saba East partners can use their desktop computer, a tablet, or their POS (Point Of Sale)  via integration. 

Saba Eats partners can use Android or IOS devices. If you are having trouble loading the Saba Eats app try to refresh the app or reset the phone. 

There is no need to sign up again. Download the app and log in with your details.

As a delivery agent, you must ensure that you have added your full name and bank details, upload all documents, an image of your delivery vehicle, and a selfie. If your account is missing any of these, it is not complete.

Although specifically designed for food delivery, Saba Eats now delivers other products directly from businesses to customers due to demand. We accept Florists, Pharmacists, Liquor stores, Vegetable shops, farmers, and Butchers to sign up on our platform. 

We allow florists to sign up on our platform. We certainly do flower deliveries.

Saba Eats delivers meat straight from the local butchers to their valued customers.

We deliver greens and vegetables from the vegetable shops, markets, and even from farmers directly to you.

Keeping money in your wallet is a great idea. You can use it as you wish in the future. To fund your wallet, log in with your details. On your dashboard, select "Fund your wallet", then "Fund wallet", then enter the amount you want to on your wallet, click on "Add money", then click on "Yoco card", you will be taken to the Yoco page, enter your card details and complete the process. Once done, go back to your dashboard and check your wallet again which should show the added amount. Next time you make an order, pay using your wallet money.

When you submit all documents required, it takes 3 working days to approve your account.

No experience is needed. However, we expect you to have an Android or IOS device or smartphone.

We do not charge delivery fees if do decide to pick up your order directly from the restaurant. When you make an order select the "Take Away" option.

The prices of goods on our platform are managed by the restaurants. We encourage our restaurant partners to be consistent with the product prices.
